More c-notch prep

Tonight I removed the drivers side bump stop and it's rivets. I was also able to snap off the bolt holding on the other rear coil spring.

Rear suspension tear down

I started tearing down the rear suspension tonight. I removed the bumper, exhaust, wheels and shocks and one of the springs. I was too tired to break off the last bolt on the other spring. I have a strong suspicion that the rear springs on this truck have never been removed since they were installed at the factory. Every bolt fought me. The cheater bar and sawzall both got a work out.

Removed the bed

Today Len and I removed the bed. Now I can get started on the rear suspension.

Drivers side suspension is done

Rotor and caliper installed

I went and grabbed some wheel bearing grease this afternoon. I got the
bearings and seal installed and bolted on the caliper.

Passenger side suspension done

Today I went and rented a ball joint press from Autozone and assembed
the passenger side suspension. I had to wrap a chain around the frame
and the jack to get the spring to compress. I have to pick up some
wheel bearing grease and then I can get the rotor and caliper on.
